SEATTLE – Seattle Pacific will replace its trademark maroon on Saturday and instead the women's soccer team will be outfitted in pink uniforms for a "Kick for the Cure" game.
The Falcons will recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month when they host Northwest Nazarene tomorrow in a 1 p.m. game at Interbay Stadium.
The SPU women will be sporting pink jerseys to show support for the Susan G. Komen Foundation and its mission to find a cure for breast cancer. Team representatives will be collecting donations at the gate and selling SPU gear with proceeds going to the foundation.
Cash and checks will be accepted. Checks should be payable to:

About Susan G. Komen for the Cure
Susan G. Komen for the Cure, the global leader of the breast cancer movement, has invested nearly $1.9 billion since its inception in 1982. As the world's largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists, we're working together to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the cures. Thanks to events like the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, and generous contributions from our partners, sponsors and fellow supporters, we have become the largest source of nonprofit funds dedicated to the fight against breast cancer in the world.
