HONOLULU – Shelby Swanson delivered her third straight double-double, this one with 22 assists and 11 digs, but host Hawaii Pacific had things go its way for most of the match to sweep past Seattle Pacific in the Falcons' final match at the HPU Challenge, 3-0.

Game scores were 25-16, 25-15, 25-19.

Coming off a dramatic come-from-behind five-game victory against Fresno Pacific just 3½ hours earlier, SPU (2-2) started off well, using a 6-0 run to take a 10-7 lead in the first game.

But the Sea Warriors, after moving ahead 18-16, ran off the last seven points to close out Game 1. HPU raced to an 11-2 lead in Game 2, then strung together six straight points to build an 8-3 lead in Game 3 and never looked back.

Junior middle blocker Nikki Lowell (Claremont, Calif.) had eight kills and hit a team-leading .294 for Seattle Pacific. Senior outside hitter Cailin Fellows (Edmonds, Wash. / Edmonds-Woodway HS) also had eight kills. Sophomore libero Brianna Leenders (Portland, Ore.) came up with 21 digs on the heels of a career-high 28-dig performance against Fresno Pacific.

Senior setter Shelby Swanson (Kennewick, Wash. / Kamiakin HS) had 22 assists and moved closer to a spot in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference's all-time top 10. She now needs just 59 more to get there.

The Falcons hit just .039 as a team. Hawaii Pacific hit .277.
