HAYWARD, Calif. – The offense never got untracked, and neither could the Seattle Pacific Falcons.
Nikki Lowell had seven kills, but the Falcons as a team totaled just 22 in dropping three straight games to Azusa Pacific in the Route 92 Showdown volleyball tournament.
Scores in Pioneer Gymnasium at Cal State East Bay were 25-13, 25-22, 25-18.
SPU (4-3), coming off of a pair of victories on Friday in nearby Belmont, will conclude the tournament tonight at 7 against co-host East Bay.
Senior middle blocker Lowell (Claremont, Calif.) also had six digs, and was Seattle Pacific's leading hitter at .174.

Jessica Miller (Fife, Wash. / Fife HS) had four blocks.
Except for two early ties, the Cougars (5-2) led for the entirety of Game 1. SPU stepped things up in Game 2, leading by three points on five occasions. The Falcons were still up 15-13 when Azusa Pacific ran off four straight points to move permanently in front.
Seattle Pacific fell behind 6-2 in the third game, but stormed back to take an 8-7 lead. It was 13-13 when the Cougars ran off three straight points at the start of an 8-1 run to take command at 21-14.
The Falcons wound up at minus-.038 hitting for the match (22-26-105). Azsua Pacific had the best hitting day of any SPU opponent so far this season, finishing at .259 (39-11-108).
