The Falcons also started Game 2 quickly, builiding a 4-0 advantage, and stretched it out to 10-4. It was 13-12 for SPU when the Pioneers (4-4), who lost just one game in their four tournament matches put seven straight on the board to go in front for good at 19-13.
The teams traded the lead six times in the third game. East Bay, down 19-16, went ahead with five straight at 21-19. The Falcons twice got back within one at 23-22 and 24-23.
