     • Release: SPU men set for four-game trip to Spain

The Seattle Pacific men's soccer team departs Thursday (Aug. 6) for an 11-day trip to Spain.

The Falcons are scheduled to play four friendlies, beginning with back-to-back outings on Aug. 9, versus Rayo Majadahonda and then RSD Alcalá. They clash with Rayo Vallecano on Aug. 12 and conclude the slate of exhibition games on Aug. 14 against U-19 Las Rosas.

The SPU men will primarily be headquartered in Madrid, but have visits scheduled to the cities of Segovia and Toledo that have both been declared World Heritage Sites by UNESCO.

Senior goalkeeper Shamele Battan (Vancouver, Wash./Hockinson HS) will be sending written reports from Spain and those travel blog entries will be posted on the SPU athletics website throughout the trip.
