SEATTLE – Elizabeth Culpepper hammered 17 kills and made it a double-double with 13 digs on Saturday night as Hawaii Pacific swept Seattle Pacific in the final match of the Great Northwest Athletic Conference-Pacific West Crossover Volleyball Tournament .
Scores in SPU's Brougham Pavilion were 25-20, 25-13, 25-21.
Pomai Recca added 11 kills for the Sharks (5-3), who hit .284 for the match with 51 kills and just 13 errors on 134 attacks.
Sophomore setter Tenika Wentworth posted a double-double of 46 assists and 15 digs. Amanda Moriarty came up with 19 digs.
Seattle Pacific (2-6) was led by the eight kills of freshman outside hitter Dani Johnson. Sophomore hitter / blocker Hannah Lautenbach had seven kills and 14 digs. Freshman setter Symone Tran put down a career-high five kills to go along with her second double-double of 25 assists and 11 digs.
The 51 kills by Hawaii Pacific was 19 more than the Falcons had. SPU hit .165 for the match (32 kills-12 errors-121 attacks).
SPU senior libero Breanne Wiekamp had a season-high 22 digs.
