SEATTLE – Ashlee Comastro, who already has two Player of the Year awards to her credit, will be bring her talent to Seattle Pacific University after signing a national letter of intent to join the women's basketball program.

"She is a really tough competitor, and comes from a good program," SPU coach Julie Heisey said. "Ashlee can do a lot of things. She's able to score, but it's also her rebounding, and how hard she works, and how hard she runs the floor.

"She has a huge upside, and definitely has a competitive spirit."

Comastro was named Player of the Year in the 4A Greater St. Helens League last winter by the coaches. She also was named as the All-Region Player of the Year by the Columbian newspaper of Vancouver.
